چکیده
In this review paper, recent progress in the fabrication, transfer, and fundamental physical properties of freestanding oxide perovskite thin films is discussed. First, main strategies for synthesis transfer are analyzed. initial section, particular attention devoted to use water-soluble (Ca,Sr,Ba)3Al2O6 as sacrificial layers, one most promising techniques fabrication membranes. The functionalities that have been observed then reviewed. doing so, authors begin by describing emergence new phenomena ultrathin membranes when released from substrate. They move on a summary functional under application strain. Indeed, offer unique possibility actively control strain state far beyond what can be with traditional methods, allowing investigation profound interplay between structural electronic oxides. Overall, highlights potential oxide-based become preferred platform study novel materials.

Vacancies Job in Oxide Perovskite Thin Films
Point defects can affect considerably the structural, magnetic, and transport properties of perovskite-structure materials with chemical formula ABO3. Oxygen vacancies (VO), for example, enable ionic conductivity in perovskite-based solid solutions to be used for electrochemical applications such as solid oxide fuel and electrolysis cells [1]. Likewise, VO can distort significantly the equilibr...
متن کاملPerovskite oxide superlattices: Magnetotransport and magnetic properties.
We have fabricated perovskite superlattices consisting of two ferromagnetic metallic oxides: La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 ~LCMO! and SrRuO3 ~SRO!. We have investigated the magnetotransport and magnetic properties of a series of samples, in which the layer thickness of LCMO is fixed and that of SRO varied from 0 to 20 unit cells. The magnetoresistance ratio in a superlattice can be increased by a factor of ...

15 صفحه اولThe mechanical properties of freestanding electroplated Cu thin films
The plane-strain bulge test is used to investigate the mechanical behavior of freestanding electroplated Cu thin films as a function of film thickness and microstructure. The stiffness of the films increases slightly with decreasing film thickness because of changes in the crystallographic texture and the elastic anisotropy of Cu. Experimental stiffness values agree well with values derived fro...
متن کاملStrain response of magnetic order in perovskite-type oxide films.
The role of elastic strain for magnetoelectric materials and devices is twofold. It can induce ferroic orders in thin films of otherwise non-ferroic materials. On the other hand, it provides the most exploited coupling mechanism in two-phase magnetoelectric materials and devices today. Complex oxide films (perovskites, spinels) are promising for both routes. The strain control of magnetic order...
